Women with plus-size can now shop for more than just accessories at Anthropologie. The American retailer clothing which operates over 200 stores worldwide. They have now plus-size category for the first time in their history, offering more than 120 styles in its APlus line.
Clothes are now available at their website and in some of their stores. The decision follows other retailers that have moved into the plus-size women’s market including Victoria Secret and many others.
“This is an exciting starting point for Anthropologie. Our goal is to be a destination for everyone wanting to express their personal style and to feel like their best selves,” said Richa Srivastava, Anthropologie managing director of design. “At launch, we’ll offer a great range of options and an exceptional shopping experience. We’ll evolve both as we move forward, adding more styles and locations as we learn from customer feedback.”
They also said that APlus by Anthropologie demonstrates the brand’s continued commitment to supporting inclusive size in a news release. The category will soon available in all the stores in the coming year.
