Karl Lagerfeld : The Man Behind Many Big Fashion Brands

Karl Lagerfeld, death news gave shock to the entire world. He was one of the best creative designer of the fashion industry we will never forget about. His black glasses, silver ponytail & detachable white collar made him recognizable outside the fashion world. Karl was known for his classic designs and fashion sense which made him one of the best creative designer of all time.

During the early days of his career, Lagerfeld participated in a coat design competition where he won and get a chance to work with Pierre Balmain for three years after that he become artistic director of Jean Patou. After this he started freelancing for many brands like Chloé, Charles Jourdan, Krizia, Valentino and eventually in 1967 he was hired by Fendi. Karl’s innovative designs gave groundbreaking records to Fendi by introducing the use of mole, rabbit and squirrel pelts into high fashion.

Lagerfeld received his international fame after joining Chanel in the year 1982 since the death of designer Coco Chanel a decade prior. He brought life back into the company by making it a huge success by revamping its ready to wear fashion line. He was the person who integrated the interlocked “CC” monograph of Coco Chanel into a style pattern for the House of Chanel. Soon, he also started his own eponymous “Karl Lagerfeld” brand which also become huge success in international market.

Karl will be missed forever for his evergreen fashion style & creative sense of designs who was not only person behind big brands but a person behind Fashion Industry who is ideal for all of us.
